Show me that you show the world
Oh, forgive me if I am impolite
Or too direct language
Forgive me for my mind is Deaf

They said, when you talk, know your place
Or know thy language, that talks for thou
Or when you talk make sure it is clear
But my Deaf mind be like, I who’s not hearing
I try to learn English not only speaking but how it writes
They said, grammar, grammar, and grammar
The right sentences would satisfy English’s
I don’t know why to talk about English but

Show me that you show the world
Oh, forgive me if I am impolite
Or too direct language
Forgive me for my mind is Deaf

I would write, show me that you are
And someone would edit my saying
Don’t hide your true color
Show me that you show the world
And they would say, reveal yourself
I don’t know what to word, show me
Impolite or too direct language
Closing punctuation
Word choice

Show me that you show the world
Oh, forgive me if I am impolite
Or too direct language
Forgive me for my mind is Deaf

I am a Deaf male, and I write what comes my mind. I have been creatively writing since 2010, and from there has been growing my excitement and passionate for my poetry and writing.
